Delete your account — Wasil Merchant App

You can delete your Wasil account at any time. This page describes two ways to request deletion and what happens to your data afterward.
Method 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open the Wasil app.
- Sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type the word
حذفto confirm and enter your password. - Tap the confirm button. Your account will be deleted immediately.
If you have invoices in flight (PENDING, SHIPPED, or any non-final state), deletion will be blocked and the count of in-flight invoices will be shown to you. You must wait until those invoices close (delivered, cancelled, or returned) before deletion can proceed.
Method 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app for any reason (lost password, app uninstalled, new device), send a deletion request to the address below from the same email registered on the account:
support@wasiliraq.com
Use the subject: Account deletion request. Include in the message:
- Your store name or slug, if known.
- The phone number registered on the account.
We will respond within 7 business days confirming the deletion. We may ask for additional confirmation to verify your identity before processing.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone, and personal account information.
- Your password (already stored as a hash; permanently removed).
- Your store settings, store name, logo, and shipping rates.
- Your products and inventory data.
- Push notification tokens linked to your devices.
- Active sessions (refresh tokens).
What is retained, and for how long
For accounting, operational, and dispute-resolution purposes, we may retain some data for a limited period after deletion:
- Closed invoice records (DELIVERED, RETURNED, CANCELLED).
- Shipment logs.
- Audit logs for security purposes.
Retained data is not used for any other purpose, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted when no longer needed.
Can the account be restored after deletion?
If a deletion was accidental, contact support at support@wasiliraq.com as soon as possible. A short time after deletion it becomes final and cannot be reversed.
Frequently asked
Does this also delete my Fuhood account?
No. Your Fuhood merchant account is separate. To act on your Fuhood account, contact Fuhood directly.
Does this delete my customers' data from orders they placed?
Invoice and order data linked to your account is deleted on the schedule described above.
How long does in-app deletion take?
Immediate. You will be signed out automatically and cannot sign back in.
